Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Notice
Capital School District is applying for the Delaware Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Cohort 24 Grant, RFP/Contract Number DOE26011-21ST_CCLC24, administered by the Delaware Department of Education.
The following Capital School District schools are included in this application:
- Towne Point Elementary School
- Booker T. Washington Elementary School
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers program provides federal funding to support high-quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities for students and families. These programs are designed to provide academic enrichment, support student achievement, increase school connectedness, promote youth development, and offer family engagement opportunities during non-school hours or periods when school is not in session.
If awarded, the proposed program will support participating students through academic assistance, enrichment activities, physical activity, social-emotional/youth development opportunities, and family engagement programming aligned with school and district goals.
This is a competitive grant application. Posting this notice does not guarantee that funding will be awarded.
